so i was looking at the summary of the latest pokémon movie, "Zorua: Master of Illusions", and i noticed something. it says that celebi has returned after vanishing for twenty years, but Ash was the last one to see celebi according to "Pokémon 4 Ever". this must mean that Ash is actually somewhere in his late thirties or early forties. so why is he a) every bit as youthful in appearance as day one and b) still described as a "brash young trainer"? this also means that Brock (who was present for that adventure) is also in his early forties, as well as Misty, although she regrettably departed from the team to be replaced by Dawn. Either Nintendo's idea of the aging process is skewed, or people on Pokéarth just don't age.
i don't know. i suppose it'll remain an eternal mystery. later. -Cat

by the wombat's knee!
Destiny Bond Battle Team now covers the Pokemon TGC as well as the games. Just about the whole franchise, really. only two or three components, after all.
I used the energy from my Stormshaper deck to supplement my new, original deck, unofficially titled Flash Fire. Hopefully i'll get some ponytas from my partner sometime soon .... i have just enough spaces for three ponytas and two rapidashes. that'll top everything off, i think. then all i'll have to do is test it.
other than that .... well, our pipes froze, but we eventually thawed them. now they're wrapped in towels we stole from the gym. airports are shutting down their flight schedules due to high winds and moody weather, with lots of ice on the roads and runways.
but it was kind of funny to watch several people slip on a puddle of ice.
that's all for now, i suppose. later. -Cat

If i wasn't so puerile ....
we took a test today. it wasn't techincally a REAL test, per se, but it was a test.
and my finishing early resulted in me having to sit in silence for two and a half hours. naturally.
of course they didn't let me draw. like i was going to pass a note to someone i could only reach by getting up and walking over to them. i was in the back of the class, too.
.... but i had to entertain myself somehow.
in the end, that took the form of me slowly typing out the full Pokemon theme song on my calculator.
whoever next turns that calculator on will be confronted with an hour and a half's worth of typed-up lyrics. joy.
i hate myself.
